The reasons I feel sooo happy right now…

I am so happy I am finished my paper. I swear I feel like a big burden has been lifted off of my shoulders. Although, there still is last minute things. I still have my works cited to finish, but the writing process it over. Of course,  I will go back and do corrections all the way up until Monday,but the good thing is I have all my thoughts down on paper.

I think this story was a good one to work with. I am happy that I chose Sonny’s Blues not only because I liked the story, but because I did not have any trouble finding scholarly sources on it. There was so much information I found on this story. I found not only mythological critism, but biographical and psychological. Plus the story is a little longer than some of the other stories we covered in class so I had more information to work with.

School is almost over! I think we have about a week or two left, and then finals. How exciting is that?

As I said before, I am so happy I started early. This was definitely an assignment that I could not afford to “sleep on”. If I did,  I would not have been able to get the help that was given to me. Even now with the help that I did get, I still feel like I need more. So I could only imagine if I started late.

“MY TOUGHEST CHALLENGE BY FAR”

At first, the hardest part about writing my essay was creating an outline. Now, I am sooooo afraid of plagiarizing. I also still find it difficult citing correctly. I am happy that we have a workshop on Monday because that way I can get some opinions on my ideas. I will be meeting with a tutor in the writers center after our workshop on Monday as well. I have been taking advantage of all of the help that is out there. With that being said, I am almost sure I will do good on my essay.

Once again, I am here in Starbucks working on my paper……OMG;)….Guys I am soooo happy I started early on the research paper. I feel like I have gotten alot accomplished. I am taking a break from typing my essay and I am very confident by the end of the night I will have a full draft. I swear doing an outline really helps alot. I also have been going to the writer’s center for help and that was very beneficial. As much as I hate to say it I kinda enjoy doing this research paper. I know it sounds lame but I really enjoyed doing my research seeing how different writer’s come up with tons of different ideas on just one story. I will also discuss my paper with professor Wood and get some feedback from her. I am a little nervous though, because I dont want to write it all over but if that is what it takes its just something I will have to do. I am really trying to knock this one out of the ball park

I am sitting here in Starbucks (my most favorite place to study) and I just reread my story again to get a better understanding and make sure that I do not miss anything. I am trying to develop my outline and come up with a thesis. I know if I can develop a really good outline, everything will begin to just pour out and there is my five pages. The problem is I am having a hard time coming up with one, this is the biggest challenge so far. I think I may need to do a little bit more of research. I am starting on this one early. I am hoping to have a complete five page draft by next week.
